Vincent van Gogh to Anton Kerssemakers : 9 April 1885:
[Postcard to Anton Kerssemakers]Dear Sir, I am not sure whether I shall be able to come and paint next Saturday.
Because I am making some studies of the planting of potatoes here, on which I shall perhaps be obliged to go on working on the day in question. But if not on Saturday, I shall certainly come next Monday - unless I hear from you to the contrary.
